Princess 2019-20 season - perks?

So I haven't cruised Princess before, but I'm looking at a PNG cruise out of Brisbane in December 2019. What's the chance of Princess offering a 'perks for free' promo any time soon on these cruises? Does Princess offer these sort of 'free perks' promos often throughout the year?

It is anyone's guess and then it is likely to only apply to new bookings so if you happen to book and then it gets offered, you may well be not able to take advantage of it.

Usually not for a few months after the cruise is released and it depends on how popular the cruise is as to whether it is included in the perks deal.

We've had cruises where we've booked early, then seen a price drop and/or extra perks and Princess has refared the cruise when I phoned them. We book direct with Princess. That happened on our recent Diamond cruise - we got two price drops plus the Three for Free deal.

However if the cruise is selling well, chances are the prices will go up. I booked an inside cabin on the August 2019 Hawaii/Tahiti cruise late last year and the price has now increased over $1400pp for our cabin category.

Yes, best off booking with Princess for that. That way if there's a promo early on and it's worthwhile to switch i.e. price hasn't gone up, you can do it without cost. Of course, if the price has gone up you can just stay with what you have without being sad that you'd missed the lower price.

We have 3 Princess cruises coming up, Sapphire x 2 and Royal x 1. Got the 3 for free promo on all 3, which is cover charge restaurant dinner for 2, bottle of wine and extra promo obc, I think it was $100 each, so no big deal. You are better off getting a lower price.:loudcry:
