Nassau - on my own family dont want to leave ship - quick walk/beer

Kids want to stay in kids club and wife wants to stay on ship (to make most of kids being in kids club!)

I'd to have a quick look around Nassau, maybe visit the beach for a quick walk, stop somewhere for a beer or two etc.

Not all day - just maybe a few hours.

Any recommendations?

Junkanoo Beach is a short walk from port too. It's not the greatest beach (on the harbor with views of the ships) but it's public and there are several little beach bars.

If you want to venture a little farther, there is Fort Fincastle on the hill with some history and nice views of the port.
