aloha_s Posted December 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2017 First time poster guys! Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'll considering my _first ever_ cruise on POA and doing research to see if I'll really be able to get everything out of the trip that I want. Been to Hawaii before, but only Maui, and only sat on Ka'anapali beach. What a missed opportunity! This time I want to see the best of every island! Love that the POA stops in Maui for two days but wondering if it overnights in port or what. I'm looking at some private tours and cruises but wondering if I'll be able to make the early start times on Monday morning.

aloha_s Posted December 14, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted December 14, 2017 Thank you! That is really good to know. And can you get off at any time? Like, if I wanted to book a private Haleakala Sunrise excursion, for example. Thank you thank you!

As long as you are back by the time everyone must be on board Monday afternoon, you can do as you wish. Just remember if you have cocktails at dinner wherever you go while ashore, have a designated driver.

The ship is there overnight Sunday, and open to come and go, just like a land based hotel. On Monday it sails.
