YC - free laundry & wifi ?

Hi

Were due on a B2B in YC this coming weekend.

Was looking for any pre-booking discounts on laundry and wifi but then came across an article which says laundry an dry cleaning is free in YC - true??

It also said wifi was free and they even have notebooks you can borrow - not sure on that either?

good day - sorry to say, that would be a double NO!!!!! - that being said, you should look at the date of the article - when we did a 21 day cruise to Brazil on the Divina for the World Cup a couple years ago in the YC, we did have internet the entire time and a certain amount of laundry was free - the problem with the internet is that old articles are not purged....

sometimes when you do a booking however, a perk is an internet package, so you if you onto the MSC for me APP, go under profile, then look "what is included", it will show what is included as well as what you have purchased in advance, -

interesting article - that is not the case on our last divina cruise or our upcoming cruise on the seaside - it does talk about a wi-fi enables tablet in your stateroom, but no mention weather the internet service to use the tablet is complimentary - it is one of those fine lines to figure out and translate as you may - not clear at all...

Just about sums up the whole cruise industry.

I had heard there might be discount coupons onboard for YC so did not preorder.......there are no coupons. If I had it to do over I would have precooked because I think it was 20% discount.

I did purchase the 20 piece laundry package for $35.

Thought it was 25 on Divina but it is 35. here.

One thing I really like about it is that you do not have to send everything at once. They keep track throughout the cruise.it does NOT include dry cleaning.

I bought the middle internet package. I think it was $44. I just read emails and play games.

One thing surprising is their ‘security’ filter. I play a pretend casino game. Have done it for years and played it on all cruise lines. It is NOT for money. I cannot use any bonus features at all because I get a message saying I am violating their policy on gambling.

Also on Candy Crush ! I can play the basic game but can not get any type of bonus. Do not know how other things might be effected

The Yacht Club is a category of cabin/suite. You pay for the category of Yacht Club and then you are a member of the club for that cruise.

No free laundry or WiFi for YC but this is one area where MSc does well. Both can be purchased very reasonably priced onboard.
