Changing cabins within same category

Has anyone ever tried to move cabin locations after final payment? I'm wanting to move my other inside room closer down to our balcony (which I got doing an upgrade). But I don't want to risk messing up my perks, etc. Any advice?

Pick up the phone and call, it should not be an issue.

Yes, I did it with an AFB on Pearl. I moved cabins (same cat) and absolutely no problem. I was very relieved because the first cabin had bad reviews due to a nightclub being in close proximity.

I did this just a few days ago, when after final payment multiple cabins in our category opened up. My pcc had no problem doing the cabin switch as long as I stayed in the same category.

I just switch from an inside to a balcony n kept all the perks and got extra onboard credit.
