Here in Vancouver

Arrived YVR at 1304. Had already cleared customs during layover in Calgary. Bags were already on the carousel by the time we reached it! No wait for taxi and there was a minivan already available for our party of 4 with probably enough luggage for 6 lol. Made it to our downtown hotel by 1345 and in our room by 1400. Fare was 31$ Canadian flat plus tip. Paid with American AMEX and added the tip no problem!

We are staying at Residence Inn By Marriott Downtown very close to Granville Island where we are heading now. Very clean and friendly the room is spacious and very reasonable price for 4 adults and includes breakfast. Only drawback kind of far from Canada Place, will probably need a taxi on Saturday. We will see how that goes.

Vancouver looks lovely can't wait to explore more. Doing live report on HAL board. More later!

Welcome! You're exactly one mile on foot from the pier, so yes that might be too far with luggage to trundle... the route could not be easier though, go straight up Hornby!
