Good catch. Perhaps when told, you're not getting your money back ,only credit, they took the credit. I seriously doubt that this is"new" money.

 

I suspect that if the OP got any compensation - which I doubt very much - we would hear about it here as a confirmation of the legitimacy of her complaint.
