Hi

hubby & i are newbies and going on our 1st cruise, aged late 30's.

I put a deposit down 2 days ago, remainder due, June 2018.

My credit card covers Trip cancellation $1000 & Delayed/Damaged baggage $500

So i am seeking, medical insurance and evacuation insurance (were pretty healthy) Carnival quoted us $139 per cabin (our cruise was $1000/$500 each)

P.s i called our health insurance & they said our out of network doctors visits are $125 & in emergency we have to pay $3000/out of pocket deductible & then they cover anything above $3000...

Can anyone recommend "primary" company with good pay out records for, medical/evacuation insurance? (i have no interest in buying a plan that does not pay out)

Thank you for your time to reply

Call

www.TripInsuranceStore.com

You might want to browse their online policy summaries, but we strongly urge you to CALL them and discuss what you do or don't want.

They are an insurance broker and deal with policies from several vetted insurers.

We've purchased all of our travel insurance through them, after hearing about them here on CC.

In case it helps, we've used policies from them with Travel Insured, and one other insurer.

But we've had several claims with Travel Insured, including a couple of large claims, and they've paid without any nonsense. Yes, that matters!

Hi

Update i called and spoke to Deanna wow o wow AMAZING :)

I was quoted $62: $100k medical emergency, $1 million evacuation each (plus more benefits)

(under writers are United states fire insurance company)

They have a 14 day cancellation policy, (vs $139 for 2 people on canival with less coverage)

This is a primary insurance, they were professional, quick to answer questions & rated high on BBB

Win win for me, as "GeezerCouple" stated CALL THEM

p.s its better to be safe than sorry!
