Roberts Tours

Thinking of using them for an upcoming cruise this coming January for three different ports. Kauai, Hilo and Honolulu.

Not much on here about them so figured would ask if others have used them and how satisfied they were.

There is actually a fair amount about them. They are the largest tour vendor on the islands and offer a large variety of tour types and sizes.

Roberts is a long time Hawaiian company. Very reputable. We used them for tours and enjoyed them very much, but that was a number of years ago.

Thanks for sharing this. Found a few more comments but for major tour operator all over the islands surprised how few threads on them.

Roberts has been in business since 1941 and covers the four major islands with 900 vehicles and 1,400 employees. They must be doing something right, but you certainly shouldn't go with them if you have any misgivings.

We used Roberts for 4 tours in Kona, Maui, and Kauai, and for transportation services in Honolulu a few years ago. We really enjoyed all of our tours! They were small group tours, cheaper than the cruise line, and the guides were personable and knowledgeable. Their customer service was great! Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend Roberts of Hawaii for shore excursions. (They have a shore excursion section on their website that will list the excursions available for your specific cruise.)

We used them five years ago and were happy with their service. If you got to Trip Advisor and type in their name under Hawaii tours you will find all the reviews and I think you will see that they have good reviews. As the other folks here have said, they would never have remained in business all these years if they did not do a good job servicing folks, but check them out yourself..

We used them for transportation only and can say we had a great experience with them. They were a really great company.

I used Roberts on our Princess cruise two years ago and they were great. I loved the small buses/vans they used.

I too have used Roberts- sometimes the same tour as NCL but less expensive.

Once I was in a passenger bus all alone going to a beach break in Kona. Went to the same beach as NCL.
