Do You Ever Regret Purchasing Onboard Ship Photography?

Hate the photogs in the MDR and I don't stop for anything on embarkation and debarkation, but we love getting our picture taken at the backdrop with the ship at night. I call it our token "love boat" picture. It is our only splurge. We don't purchase alcohol, specialty food, or anything from the shops, but we love having this one memory photo. I'm sure after several more years of cruising, we will stop bothering with it, but for now we grudgingly pay for our picture.

I don't bother even posing for pictures anymore. On a formal night, I'll ask our waiter to grab a picture of us after dinner (they are always happy to oblige). Though my next cruise will be with my brother and family, so I can see posing for a large family picture.

We actually have two cruise photographer pictures up on the self in the Den. One is our family of five, me DW, and our three sons and one is of the extended family on my DW's side, all 15 of us ( from the same cruise)

The price of the photos were way too much as just photos, but if you factor in the 'herding of the cats' element just to get those photos, it wasn't a bad price at all. :D

Yes, because each year that goes by, the photos seem to make me look older! :(

We pose for them on formal nights when we are dressed up but won’t buy unless we like them. Same goes for the candid and disembarking in ports. We never buy otherwise

Nah....never regretted, Why? Because in our last 100 or so cruises we have no purchased a single photo and doubt we ever will.

I find their nagging quite annoying and have never used their services. Some of them can be quite pushy or deliberately stand in one's way to slow one down. That's just me.
