Excursions off the Ship

In the event a ship excursion doesn't pan out (eg resort used has a horrible reputaiton) are there excursion companies awaiting our business when we disembark in Mazanillo and Mazatlan? Any companies you have used?

You will find taxis, vans, and tour guides at both ports offering a variety of tours. Or you can design a tour by making a list of the things that interest you and work out a deal with the local drivers.

In Mazatlan you can hire a Pulmonia to take you on a tour. The ‘basic’ tour is about two hours for $20. Do not remember seeing (but they could have been without me seeing them) any resort excursions offered.

Sadie--I'm looking more for excursion type experiences like the Turtle Sanctuary or Beach Resorts....
