food and artificial dye questions

My sister is allergic to eggs, MSG and artificial dye, specifically red and yellow. We are aware to head to the dinning room when we board to alert the dinning room for meals. My question: does anyone know if the mixers for drinks are pre-packaged or made especially for the cruise line? On Royal we were able to read the ingredients of the mixers and confirm it was all good with natural ingredients. Just had to make sure no cherry added to her drink, as they have red dye added. If she can only drink a mixed drink and none of the fun frozen drinks, she won't purchase the drink package. Thanks in advance for the help, we are really wanting to try a Carnival cruise.

(y)The mixers and bar supplies are from the same providers of land based bars. As for the dining room you may want to call Carnival and discuss your dietary needs. In many cases they will have food prepared in advance at the port, and heat it separately so to avoid cross contamination with other food.

DW has unusual food allergies.

She is ok on lido for breakfast and lunch but for dinner in the dining room we tell the headwaiter the first night and they will arrange to make her food separately.

This is not fool proof so look carefully at what comes and remind them constantly about her allergies.

In the past one of the dining room hostesses would handle this and worked much better as the hostess has a better command of English and is more of an authority figure.
