NCL, Under 2 Zoo - Questions

Can someone give me some infomation about the Under 2 Zoo Program, beyond the fact that it is not supervised. DH and myself will be traveling with our 18 month twins.

  • Where is normally located on the Dawn (we have been on the Dawn twice before, but never with kids)?
  • What kind of hours is it open?
  • What type of toys are there?
  • Any books?

Thanks in advance!

We were in the Dawn in January with our 13 month old DD. The Under 2 Zoo was located in the Port Room (inside/next to Spinnaker's Lounge). It was open from 9am til 4pm every day. It is a smallish room with 20 or so seats around the perimeter. It had a couple large totes with blocks, toys and balls. I saw a couple books. There were also two large pop-up tents that looked like a bus and a fire truck. The toys weren't the greatest, but at least DD could be free to toddle about and I could sit without chasing her. On our cruise, we rarely saw anyone else in there, but here were only 70-ish children under 17 on the boat in total.
