Parking in Tampa Lot at Port

I have not searched the forum for this.

Has anyone ever experienced any problems parking their car at the inside parking facility?

Is it safe to leave things inside the car that are visable?

Is it patrolled?

Wouldn't do that anywhere.

They have a valet service and it's wonderful. Can't recall the cost but your car is gated and the convenience is worth every penny.

The last time we used Valet parking at Tampa, it took so long to get through the line that we could have gotten it out of the garage ourselves faster. We no longer use it.

Is the valet parking in a covered more secure area? We don't mind the cost or waiting afterwards for our car. We just want to know if it's safe enough to leave things on the back seat.

Last time I sailed out of Tampa we were delayed on disembarkation due to numerous cars being broken into in the garage.
