I will be cruising to Hawaii in September 2019. The first 5 days are Sea Days. What do YOU like to do on Sea Days?

Sleep, read, play trivia. Read some more, sleep some more.

Once I set up Bunco for my Roll Call on a Transatlantic. We kept picking up more people and everyone had a blast.

I like to read and find a table in the solarium to do my counted cross stitch. It is so much easier to do with all the natural light. My husband likes to do paint by number so he will spend time doing that along with time in the pool. We love sea days so the more sea days we have the better we like it.

Late breakfast, hang out at the solarium for a couple of hours, maybe check out a couple of events from the Cruise Compass, read on the balcony. Very nice, the more we have cruised the more we like sea days the most.

Sleep in, read, take a nap.... Sounds like heaven right now. With 5 sea days, I'm sure I'd fit a workout in on at least a couple of the days, probably some pool time and trivia too. As well as checking out the compass for any activities, Generally, I am not at activities type person.

Our cruise next spring has 3 days in a row and I think I am going to treat myself to a massage one fo those days, something I never do on a cruise. We have a very busy 5 day pre cruise and 3 days post cruise so the cruise itself is really our time to destress and relax.

We take between 4 and 6 books ,read them on sea days and leave them on the ship.

The only exception was when I took a book titled Of Times Remembered that was so good I had to being it home.

I see you are on the Radiance. It is a smaller RCI ship without much onboard stuff (no an ice rink or pool slides). There is mini-golf, but it might be windy on sea days. Check your daily newsletter ("Cruise Compass") for special activities during the day. There likely will be different trivia contests, and some really popular events such as the belly flop contest. There might even be an afternoon theater show (I've had some before). The Viking Crown lounge (the semi-circle glass area) is a great place to sit during the day -- if you can find a seat. Generally though ships don't come alive for me until nighttime.
