Welcome home QM2 and QE

It's been a while since I've checked the bridge webcams. Good to see the QM2 bridge webcam no longer has that blue tint it has had for so many years.

Here is a screen shot from the "Solent View" webcam at Ryde found at "isleofwightwebcams.co.uk" as QM2 departed this evening. We'll be joining her in New York exactly one month from today!

Thanks for the welcome.

What an amazing trip.

We were on QE from San Francisco to Southampton.

We flew home to Florida on May 11.

I am still exhausted and want to go back to where the floors do not need to be vacuumed. the doctor visits are not happening, tea is served to me and life was so incredibly wonderful.

Captain Inger Thorhauge and her entire crew are fantastic.

Of course there will be issues when one is on such a long trip, but trust me, they are taken care of so rapidly and so well that real life pales in comparison.
