Scenic - Romantic Rhine and Moselle (Amsterdam to Basel via Moselle River)

Has anyone done this cruise with Scenic? Trying to plan out our two days in Amsterdam and wondering what time boarding is? We did the Jewels of Europe in 2016 and it was from 3pm and the boat stayed docked in Amsterdam until around lunchtime the next day (after our tours were done).

Wondering if this trip is the same, or will the boat leave the night we board?

When I look at the itinerary I see a number of things. They want your flight to arrive in Amsterdam by 5 PM, so they aren't leaving too early on embarkation day. Further, the next day you are in Antwerp with an excursion to Bruges which leads me to believe that the ship will be sailing overnight. There doesn't seem to be ANY included touring in Amsterdam.

I thought the same thing. Just hoped someone might know from first hand experience :-)

It was a few years ago that we did this cruise and the boat did leave either late at night or early morning, the only excursion before we left was our cruise director taking an escorted tour of the red light district it was very well attended! CA

Thank you Canal archive. Good to know we will have that full day to explore before we need to board. Getting a bit excited now!
