Can this work for us?

We will be in Nassau on Saturday Sept.1, 2018 and want to go to Ardastra Zoo & Gardens and to Baha Mar casino. The Enchantment of the Seas arrives in Nassau at noon and sails at 11:59 pm, but we want to be back to the ship around 6:00 pm. Do you think we will have enough time for both? What about taxis, cost & time to allow for transportation? Thanks for any info.

It's doable. Lorry Parrot feeding is at 1:30 And don't miss the marching flamingoes at 2:15.

You can take a cab from port for $13 for 2 ppl. ($4 add'l per person), it should only take 10 minutes or so once you're in the cab.

Another cab at 3pm or so to Bahamar will likely cost $18 for 2 ppl, but the usual 20 minute ride may take double that if your going during a school day.

Your return from Bahamar should begin around 5pm, since it's rush hour. (again, 18 for 2 ppl, $4 for ea. add'l person, plus tip).

That's a short time in the casino, but it's doable.

Remember, kids are not allowed in the casino (and not allowed to roam around the property), so if you are traveling with children, this idea won't work for you.

Thanks, no children with us and it's on a Saturday, so that may make a difference in travel time. Yes or no?

We spent about 45 minutes at Ardastra. It's not very big. It's up to you if you want to spend more time there or not. What are you going to do at Baha Mar, just play casino games?
