Norwegian Sun vs RC Enchantment of the Seas

Hi everyone. We are planning a 3 day cruise for this Labor Day Weekend. The 2 cruises we can go on are the Norwegian Sun and RC Enchantment of the Seas. Any feedback on which is better? They are both going to the same place (Bahamas) on the same date so the only difference is the ship we choose. Any help is appreciated.

I have been on sister ships of both (Norwegian Star and Vision of the Seas).

RCI Vision-class ships are very crowded having had cabins added during refits. Other than the main theater the bars and lounges do not have nearly enough capacity for evening entertainment. And the buffet is a disaster, there is no outdoor hamburger/hot dog grill, breakfast and lunch in the MDR is mostly self-serve as well.

Norwegian Sun does have a couple hundred fewer passengers. All dining is open seating, and the specialty restaurants are a better value if you choose. Plus I'm sure the fare includes free open bar. So unless EoS is somehow noticeably less expensive even after adding a drinks package, go with NCL in this case. Not that the ship really matters in the end--you do know to expect nothing more than a massive booze-cruise blowout (watch your step and don't wear expensive shoes) on any cruise line's three night holiday weekend sailing.

We cruised on the Sun out of Cape Canaveral recently and really enjoyed the ship. Open bar, decent entertainment and good food. Terminal for embarkation and debarkation was a Breeze. Recommend the Sun in this case.
