Advice for Gentlemen cruising on Pacific Star

If you are in port during the evening, and feel the need to visit the bathroom, it might be a good idea to avoid the mens toilets (the one that is just a urinal) on the Promenade Deck, portside outside the Starlight Lounge...

The floor to ceiling windows are see through at night with the lights on - so people outside the ship can clearly see what you are doing!!!

Which ship was that?

Hi Jo,

It was Pacific Star - it''s last visit to Brisbane until February, when it visits for the very last time.

We got there about 8.30, a few people about but not many - we were surprised, the observation deck stayed open right through until after 9.30 when Star sailed and we left.

We did see some confused passengers. A couple came back from the City Cat ferry with their bags of shopping and walked around all over the place trying to figure out how you get up to go through the gangway. I was just coming to their rescue when they asked someone else who offered to show them the way. Must have been frustrating - "we can see the ship, but we can't get back to it!" :)

We wondered if when they got off they had the ships gangway straight from the ship to the wharf, so they didn't have to go through the terminal building. But maybe as the tide rose that got too steep and they had to use the terminal gangway.
