We did the helicopter dog sledding from Juneau this past Tuesday. Weather was beautiful, sunny and mid 50s in town. They said 10 degrees colder on glacier. It wasn’t windy for us but could be other days. The sun was intense. I wore jeans, T-shirt, sweatshirt and jacket and was very comfy. They have a locker at the heli port if you get there and think you have too much. The dog mushers were actually in short sleeves enjoying an usually warm day.
