Dubrovnik Cable car - well worth a visit!

If anyone is visiting Dubrovnik - we can recommend the cable car ride.

We did it independently, were on the first shuttle off the ship and there was already a long queue - but worth the wait as you can see from the video.

I can also recommend the cable car in Dubrovnik. We walked the walls in the morning and then did the cable car afterwards and I don't recall there being any queues for the cable car then.

Very interesting at the top seeing some reminders of the war and remembering seeing it all on the TV.

If you don't like cable cars, there are taxis waiting at the dock that will take you for an hour tour then drop you off outside the city walls. The trip includes driving up to the point where the cable car goes, the views are fabulous.

We did the cable car just walked up the road from the drop off point no real queues, would by the tickets from the cable car station rather than the shops on the way up as was €2 cheaper. We found it very busy at the top as the ship tours seemed to visit early was they had gone not a problem

Will they take credit cards do you know?

Yes, we paid by credit card when we went in April earlier this year, best way IMO.

Also, we paid by credit card when we walked the city walls afterwards.

Cable car cost for the two of us £33.66 return.

City walk cost for the two of us £36.06

As per my CC statement, taking into account current exchange rates at the time.
