We have less than 2 weeks to go and with temps here in single digits our cruise can't come soon enough. Anyone know who our Captain will be ( SDI, January 18)? We wIll miss Captain Remi. Also, wondering about current crew. Any old familiar faces? Hope so!

Hi! Mitch and I will be joining you from Toronto. We are ready to go! I came down with a cold New Year's Eve and it has pretty much knocked me out since then. I am just sitting here trying to decide if I'm feeling better, but don't want to get ahead of myself. If anything I'm hoping the sun will chase the last of my potential lingering cough away on the the first 4 days we spend on Antigua. I plan to be good as new on the 18th and refuse to pack Neo Citran, Tylenol Cold and Kleenex softened with Aloe!

What I envision instead is a warm breeze, the setting sun and a cool glass of champagne in hand. This last 3 weeks has been a relentless blast of a Canadian Winter we haven't seen for several years. Tonight I'm wearing an old wool sweater knit by family back in the 80's, these things never get old when it's -25 out! We will be at CocoBay before the cruise. See you soon!

Captain Smorawski is due to join on Jan. 11 so he'll be on board for the Jan. 18 voyage.

Cabosal,

We're looking forward to seeing ya'll again and meeting new friends. It's been really cold in Louisiana for us and we can't wait to be out in the sun and fresh air. Actually got 9 holes of golf in today for the first time in 2 months, not the same when everything is brown though.

We're coming in the afternoon before and staying at Sugar Ridge. See you on the 18th!

We took time this afternoon to look at possible "Land Adventures" for the Jan. 18 sailing from Antigua. At this point, we are leaning towards the catamaran snorkeling trip in St. Barts, the snorkeling trip in Jost Van Dyke and the Radical Rides RIB excursion in Tortola. Hopefully there will be a couple of "walks" or bike rides led by Gareth as well. This itinerary should provide lots of opportunity to enjoy the watersports from the Seadream 1 as well!
