topspin1267 Posted September 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2009 We are scheduled in Cayman 7:00 a.m. til 4 pm. Our booked excursion is for 8:30-12:30 Cayman time in October. What time do we have to leave the ship? Is everyone having a high school algebra flashback? Basically how much different is Cayman time compared to ship time? Thanks

Thanks Cayman Islands are on Eastern Std Time (NO daylight savings time). Ship will be on same time as the port you leave from. HTH, Don

DanJ Posted September 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Until the time change in November, Grand Cayman is one hour behind eastern time. Assuming the ship stays on eastern time, then the post above stating you will be in port from 6-3 local is correct. After November 1, Grand Cayman will be the same time as the east coast. You have to tender, so be prepared to go pretty early. Priority goes to those who booked shore excursions through the ship.
