Are there shady areas?

If we take a taxi to town (Mahajual), are there any shady areas along the beach? I love being near the water but burn like a lobster very fast. Really prefer to be able to sit under an umbrella, palapa, or something like that. Any advice?

Karen_g-Although you will find more shade (nature & man made) along that beach than most beaches have, ya need to watch for the suns rays being reflected off of the water. You will cooked "well done" before ya know it. biggrinangry.gif We were in Costa Maya in November and found a lot of folks suffering from just that. Hope y'all have a super great time.nodassent.gif
