It's nice to know there are others out there they count down the days like I do . . . . I even count total days from the day I book and then mark my half way point on my calendar. Before I know it I'm at my half way point and think, "geez, that didn't take long, won't be long until the cruise now". I know I'm close when the expiration on the milk is when I'm on my cruise.

LOL! I like the milk-date thing!

 

My kids and I made one of those paper-link advent-style calendar chains when we booked (137 days from cruise), and strung it up across our living room. It terminates at a construction paper picture of the Carnival Pride. They pull off a link of the chain each day. It is a lot shorter than it used to be! :D Yippee!

Congrats to all in double digits, I'm jealous, but getting near there, too! I NEED this upcoming cruise, and I just can't wait! I keep finding all kinds of crazy ways to make the count go quicker. :D

Man, I have 296 to go! I think that January will come quickly though. School starting Tuesday, cheerleading activities for my daughter, cello for my son, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. After that, it will be sooooo slow! Another 6 months! Waaaaaahhh....I want to go now! But I will be as patient as I can!
