DB2VA Posted September 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2009 I heard that there were going to be some specials this weekend. But can't find any information. Any help?
karenh1127 Posted September 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Me either! Someone posted a day or so ago about seeing the Labor Day special price on his cruise but I have tried several cruises from several different ports and had no luck. I guess they are only in the cheap ports like Miami because Galveston has none. Maybe someone will reply with info.
falkcor Posted September 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2009 here i just found my post about this (search is down, and all) - brought it back for anybody interested, too... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1053330 i think you literally have to look around for it though, haven't gotten an email or seen anything on the web site, the labor day special just pops up... NWgal65 Posted September 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Falkcor: Thanks. It inspired me to check the Freedom ship I have been watching for next summer, but it is not on sale :( Maybe I will check some other itineraries.

You are right...I put it in for a Nov 2009 sailing and the Labor Day sale rate popped up, but it is only 5 dollars cheaper. Is that considered Early Saver, too, as far as being able to watch for price drops???

NWgal65 Posted September 5, 2009 #13 Share Posted September 5, 2009 Just checked my e-mail and late last night I received an e-mail from my online TA- "Carnival's Labor Day sale" and it listed a few cruises in that e-mail: Bahamas, Mexican and Caribbean itineraries.
