shiphappy Posted September 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Does Celebrity still offer a credit when you book a future cruise on board? And if so, do you know how much? Thanks!:)
hottiehottie Posted September 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Yes, Celebrity still offers shipboard credit for booking onboard. It is as follows: 3-5 nights: $50 6-9 nihgts: $100 10-13 nights: $200 14 plus: $300 When we were on Mercury at the end of May, they were also doing reduced deposits of $100 per person, regardless of the length of the cruise. TsdSrl Posted September 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2009 We booked our future cruise while on the Solstice in DEC08 and the paper with quote stated OnBoard Credits were per stateroom based on cruise fare. The following is the breakdown in USD: $50 / stateroom --> $1 to $2499 $100 / stateroom --> $2500 to $3999 $150 / stateroom --> $4000 to $5999 $200 / stateroom --> $6000 to $7499 $300 / stateroom --> $7500+
gospelle Posted September 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2009 are these credits combinable with other credits (such as stock holders credit)?
hajekfam Posted September 7, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2009 are these credits combinable with other credits (such as stock holders credit)? According to the shareholder info, the shareholder credit is not combinable with onboard booking credits, credits from special sales, etc. It is combinable with purchased credits - such as those purchased from friends, relatives, travel agents, or even yourself. It is also combinable with credits purchased by points from the Celebrity credit card. From the investor relations website: Please note that as of December 31, 2008, the Shareholder Onboard Credit is no longer combinable with other Onboard Booking Credits, Loyalty Programs and/or other Reduced Fare Offerings. In other words if the credit is free and comes from Celebrity, it can not be combined with another free credit coming from Celebrity. If you qualify for more than one free credit from Celebrity, the larger one will apply. One free credit from Celebrity can be combined with any and all purchased credit(s).
