Just wondering, if given a choice, would you choose to sail The Dream over New Year or R.C. Freedom of the Seas for Thanksgiving??? We've never sailed during holiday's. Just wondering if Dec. sailing on Dream would be alot of kids? Anyone???? Thanks for your tips!!

I would choose the Dream. We sail in early Dec. and there aren't many kids onboard. I think Thanksgiving is a lot of families. Now this is just an opinion but I would think more families are sailing at Christmas than at New Years.

I have read that Thanksgiving dinner on a cruise is not that great. I forget what ship it was but they were carving real turkeys on the Lido and using turkey roll in the MDR. :D

I would also go with the newer ship. I would love to sail for New Years but since we are doing the 9 day Dream on 12/3, I don't think I can talk my husband into it. I am looking at the Triumph out of New Orleans, it sails on 12/31. I can dream. :)
