UandMe4Ever Posted September 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2009 We will be doing our first NCL cruise on the Jewel 10-30-09 and was wondering if anyone knows the timing of the shows in the evening, to give us an idea when to have dinner, so that we can catch a show before or after. Are there different shows nightly? Any recommendations on which are the 'not to be missed' shows? Thanks in advance and any input is greatly appreciated. Happy sails to all :-)
Chipster2 Posted September 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2009 There are usually 2 shows in the main showroom each night and they are different daily. If memory serves me the times are 7 P.M. and 9:30 P.M. So that gives you quite a bit of flexibility in choosing what time to dine. Eat when you are hungry not at any specific time. That's what freestyle is all about!

derf5585 Posted September 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2009 ust like the "hokey pokey dance"...Thanks again Sad News With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, It is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 84. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started. from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_LaPrise

crew mom Posted September 12, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2009 There is a show of some sort every night in the main showroom. Plenty of time to eat before or after the show so no need to worry. I believe the shows are still Band on the Run, Country Gold, Cirque Bijou. They are all variety shows and all fun but I do hear that the Cirque show is excellent. There will also be shows done by the current entertainer but that changes so the person who is here this week may not be there when you cruise. (Truly funny derf!)
