Was it a regular cruise liner?
It was a regular cruise liner. I've since learned it is part of Ocean Village Cruises - http://www.oceanvillageholidays.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=24 though I don't know any more about it. This cruise ship is apparently not marketed in North America. Too bad - it's a handsome ship (if that's the right phrasing)...

The ship is marketed mainly for English holiday makers. It's a fly/cruise from several cities in the UK. Very Casual style of cruising.. but english casual not North American Casual. What the difference. UK Casual you would wear a nice shirt and slacks to dinner.. US/NA Casual would be a t-shirt and jeans.

no formal nights, no formal dining.. buffet 24/7. 7 Ala Cart Restaurants with service fees. English food, mainly. theme nights include Chinese, Indian French. No big production shows. Cabaret style mainly.
