Car Hire (Rental) St Thomas USVI

Has anyone out there hired a car in St Thomas to do a self drive around the island. If so, any suggestions as to which company to use - we will be docking in Crown Bay so am looking for one closest to the port.

 

Have looked on the internet but would prefer recommendations from past visitors if anyone can help please.

 

I have emailed every hire car company on the island and not one has responded :(

Are you looking to rent a car? I don't recall any by Crown Bay, the closest would be the airport, which is about 5 minutes away. I have rented there from Hertz and Budget and both were fine for the week. I am not sure what a daily fee would be.

There are no car rentals at Crown bay, but this one will pick you up and drop you off and is five minutes away.
