NBcruiser Posted January 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Hello, I'm interested in a horseback riding excursion in a couple of weeks, and was looking for some recommendations and possible contact info. There doesn't seem to be much on the boards about this topic. Thanks, NBcruiser
solita Posted January 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I would recommend Rancho Bueno Vista. Great tour, wonderful guides and well taken care of horses.
NBcruiser Posted January 4, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Thanks, Me and my wife plan to go to PB, but also would like to try something else as well? Do you have any contact info for Rancho Bueno Vista. Website or e-mail?
CozInsiderJacq Posted January 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2005 There is a ranch across the street from Nachi-Cocum Beach which is about a 5-6 minute taxi ride from PB. Las Palmitas... They have 2 hour tours starting in the morning up until about 2pm. You could horseback ride in the morning and then go to PB for the lunch and sunning the rest of the afternoon!! solita Posted January 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Here's some info for you... email to the manager, Ricardo info@buenavistaranch.com phone 011-52-987-872-1537 Tell him Carolina sent you - he's a nice guy. There is great history at the ranch...it was one of the 3 original cities on Cozumel (San Miguel and El Cedral were the others). Nice ruins. Beautiful scenery. Great guides. And like I said before, most importantly...the animals are very well taken care of.
steph Posted January 11, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Jacq- Can you give some more info about Las Palmitas? Do they have a website? Do the horses ride on the beach? We were thinking of spending the day at Nachi Cocum, so a couple of us could slip away for a horseback ride. Do you need reservations? And do you know the cost, and age restriction? My 9 year old daughter would love to ride. THANKS!
cmmcruiser Posted January 30, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 30, 2006 I found the option for horseback riding at Las Palmitas through a tour web page - it's the cheapest i've seen so far, $30 for 2 hours but that's what kind of worries me. I haven't read a post from anyone who has taken the tour through tours-cancun.com (there's a link to cozumel tours). Hoping someone can tell me that they had a great time there!!
