Miami hotel with view of ships

We are trying to decide on a hotel in Miami. We'd love to be able to see the ship coming into port. We've heard that this is possible from the Intercontinental and the Holiday Inn-Bayside. Are there any others that we can considering? My wife was looking into the Marriot (it looks like there are a couple in the area).

Holiday Inn only has a view from a few rooms, and is an old not so nice place IMO.

Intercontinental is a very nice hotel but only has a view from a few rooms, and it's from the back side of the port so much is blocked by the terminal buildings.

Neither of those places have a view of the entire port, only a portion of it, and it's not that great.

The absolute best possible view of the entire port, channel, turning basin, etc. is the Biscayne Bay Marriott. The SE view rooms there have the most spectacular view of the entire port there is. You'll see the ships come into, and sail down the channel, turn and sail back to their dock. It's amazing and great fun to watch, and no other hotel has a view that's even close, just make sure you request a SE view room... http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/miabb-miami-marriott-biscayne-bay/
