Which dock at St. Thomas?

We have been to Crown Bay several times.

It is true that there are very few shops.

We have walked out of the complex and over to the yacht area -- it's not bad over there.

But I would not walk to town.

Both of the last 2 times we were there, there was a lot of road construction going on so the ships docked at Crown Bay were offered boat rides to both down town and the new shops near Havensight -- I think it was $10 per person round trip -- use all day. Had to be booked through shore excursions -- they didn't accept any walk-up customers.

What we miss by docking at Crown Bay is the ability to walk to downtown as we used to when docked at Havensight. We also would love to be docked next to Yacht Haven Marina with all those fabulous shops vs having to take a 15+ minute cab ride (or much longer depending upon traffic on that often congested road). We never much cared about shopping at Havensight and almost never went into any of their shops.

The shops at Crown Bay aren't very interesting IMO Same old, same old and lots of t-shirts. :D
