Radiance Class-Hollywood Odyssey Lounge

Recommended Posts

For all Radiance class ships, part of the Viking Crown Lounge is noted as "Hollywood Odyssey Lounge". Is that a separate room or just a section of the Viking Crown Lounge? Are there windows there?? This is an option for our private party on an upcoming cruise on the Serenade of the Seas.

Thanks!

It's a very nice room, totally seperate from the Viking Crown and private. It has a nice bar in the back which would seat about 10 or more. It has a small, very small dance area. There are windows but they are curtained most of the time. I'm sure you could open if you wanted. The Jewel has it's concierge cocktail hour there each night and we love the room. Very warm. I'm sure it would make a nice room for a private party.

Our Roll Call last Oct for our Hawaii Cruise, was switched from the Odyssey to the Viking Crown. We had over 60 attend so it worked out far better we believe. We were on the Radiance and had a fabulous view as the curtains were already opened for us. We used the Piano to hold all the Gifts during the Gift Exchange

Book it quick !! It was where our Diamond event was every night and was much nicer than using the CL.. And they will lock the outside door for you hope no one knocks too loudly and realizes it is a private party might want them to put up the sign for you just in case..

As others have already told you it is a separate room on Deck 13 just across from the Viking Crown Lounge (Vortex). It has great ocean views and is perfect for a medium sized group. On Jewel it is frequently used as the satellite lounge for the CL and later in the evening it becomes the Cigar Lounge. It must have an excellent ventilation system, because when we have been in there for evening cocktails there has never been the slightest tobacco odor.:)
