Cozumel in December

Cruising on the Fantasy from Mobile to Cozumel/Progresso 12/19/09. Since we live in Alabma I know what the weather will probably be like as we set sail, but how will it feel throughout the trip? Water warm enough for swimming? Just want to make sure I know what we're in store for, and that we pack right!;)

We were in Cozumel the beginning of January. The weather was perfect. Warm enough to go in the water but not hot. (by Texas standards) We loved cruising in January so much that we booked the same week for this January.

we did a cruise, to the western caribe, in mid-dec...

belize was in the high 80s, cozumel was in the low 80s..didn't go into the ocean. plenty hot enough for a sun burn! shorts and light weight clothing all week.
