AuzzieCruiser Posted October 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2009 They reckon that they will be getting the Rhapsody back!!:p http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1055191 Well they reckon they'll get it back for their summer. They have been lobbying for a ship fulltime out of Galveston, Texas since the Rhapsody left in 2007. It was their only Royal Caribbean fulltime ship. There are 5 pages of replies on the thread, most wanting her back. Why would Royal Caribbean put so much time and money investing in the Rhapsody 'Down Under' only to return her to Texas?? Got to love these rumours!! Australian family Posted October 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2009 They might leave it here, as I was told by a travel agent that Royal Carribean are looking at having a ship here permanently. Those Texans wouldn't like that!

The_Big_M Posted October 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Well, it's not news yet Thied. That said, with the pricing they've been achieving lately, and competitor's supply issues, I'd say there's a greater likelihood now that it will be staying longer. Those Texans wouldn't like that! They do have more than one ship.. perhaps Texas could get Rhapsody back and we could get one of the newer ones...... :D
Tigerman00 Posted October 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2009 I know that its not that easy, but if RCI brought a different ship every couple of years thay would wipe P&O out !! Once you have cruised RCI you will understand that they are way ahead of P&O. Just my opinion !!

Once you have cruised RCI you will understand that they are way ahead of P&O. Just my opinion !! Thats a great idea If they planned it properly, they could use two ships and have one here all year round, and also offer trans Pacific cruises as the ships swap over. Keep the ideas coming folk.... you never know who in RCCL 's Head Office may be reading these boards and take our ideas on board:rolleyes:
