sallygal2 Posted October 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2009  I am locked into selecting a grade Q interior cabin on the Splendour of the Seas. Going to Med in June 2010. I know a balcony would be preferable but cannot do this time. Are these interior rooms "Q" generally below water and should I worry about sea sickness/noise? Better front of ship or rear? You can tell I am a novice...Help Thanks
cb at sea Posted October 27, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2009 None of the passenger cabins are "below the waterline"....the crew and the inner workings of the ship get that honor! The lower you are, the less motion you're apt to feel....bear in mind, that most of the time, you'll be out and about and not in your cabin! Midships is the most stable location, followed by aft....forward tends to have the most "action". When you book, have the deck plans in front of you, so you'll know what you're getting!
