cruisinlawn Posted October 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2009 looking at the Island for canal transit (west to east) nest year. Portside on Emerald deck and was wondering if dividers open between the following balconies. E626,628,630,632 OR E220,222,,224,226 OR E720,722,724 We would like three balcony cabins side/side with dividers that open. I know some are capable of being opened and others are not. I am also aware that it is ultimately up to the captain on any particular sailing to limit the # opened. This is what we have done many times on other sailings and only trying to get info as noted above. Thanks for the input.
robgvic Posted October 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Have you phoned Princess? It seems to me that they would know more than anyone here about this.
cruisinlawn Posted October 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted October 28, 2009 Have you phoned Princess? It seems to me that they would know more than anyone here about this. yep, already have (as well as TA). Its always hit and miss with cruise agent. I agree that they 'should' know, with emphasis on should. I've been through this many times before with other ships and found that CC fits the bill. I will of course continue calling Princess in an effort to get someone who knows, but in the meantime hope somewhere here has had a first hand look. Thanks. m steve Posted October 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2009 can be opened on cruise ships.
jfv379 Posted October 28, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2009 can be opened on cruise ships. I could be wrong but someone addressed this on a previous post.I believe that the only balcony dividers than can't be opened are the ones where there is a fire wall. I think the deck plans show these walls.
katiepe Posted October 28, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2009 If this works:p You may receive inquiries regarding access through the balconies of adjacent balcony staterooms (i.e. will passengers traveling together in adjacent balcony staterooms have the ability to "share" their balconies?). Basically, the majority of adjacent balcony staterooms will allow passengers traveling together to access each other's balcony. However, the opening between the balconies is restrictive; approximately 2 feet wide. Please note that due to the steel structure dividers, the following adjacent balcony staterooms have no interconnecting balcony access to each other. A309 / A311 C309 / C311 D328 / D330 D521 / D523 E629 / E631 A310 / A312 C310 / C312 D329 / D331 D524 / D526 E703 / E705 A414 / A416 C414 / C416 D332 / D334 D525 / D527 E704 / E706 A427 / A431 C415 / C417 D333 / D335 D528 / D602 E708 / E710 A503 / A505 C503 / C505 D401 / D403 D529 / D601 E707 / E709 A504 / A506 C504 / C506 D402 / D404 D603 / D605 E711 / E715 A622 / A624 C620 / C622 D422 / D502 D604 / D606 E712 / E714 A623 / A625 C633 / C637 D423 / D501 D607 / D609 E720 / E722 [D503 / D505 D608 / D610 E721 / E723 B309 / B311 D311 / D315 D504 / D506 D611 / D615 E724 / E726 B310 / B312 D312 / D314 D507 / D509 D612 / D614 E725 / E727 B414 / B416 D316 / D318 D508 / D510 D620 / D622 E730 / E734 B427 / B431 D317 / D319 D511 / D515 D621 / D623 E735 / E731 B503 / B505 D320 / D322 D512 / D514 []B504 / B506 D321 / D323 D516 / D518 E622 / E624 [b620 / B622 D325 / D327 D517 / D519 E623 / E625 [b633 / B637 D324 / D326 D520 / D522 E628 / E630

cruisinlawn Posted October 28, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted October 28, 2009 couldnt get it to paste properly but can you understand? Those cabins do NOT have connecting balconies. Sorry a little hard to read got it, no problem with reading. This is for the Island? Just want to make sure. So, in theory E630,632, and 702 should have balcony access?? or the E220,222,224,226 should access as well?? I question those as I see very few foward cabins. This is great tool. May I ask where you found it? I currently have E 628,630,632 so will need to make a change. I have also sent Princess an email in hopes for info from them on the specific cabins. No word as of yet. Thanks again.
katiepe Posted October 28, 2009 #10 Share Posted October 28, 2009 yes this is for the Island. The ones affected for you appear to be E720 / E722 E724 / E726 E628 / E630 so yes the others should be fine. This is the information I have of course it can change without warning as can everything else in life;) but this I do believe is accurate as I post.
