cruisetobeaches Posted December 23, 2009 Author #53 Share Posted December 23, 2009 dooowwn.. Camera position is 2-3 ft. out from the edge of the transom . Nice, creative shot! One of these days, I'll get either a very wide angle or a fish-eye lens for my DSLR. I used to have one when I used film, but that has long since been sold...................... Aplmac Posted December 24, 2009 #54 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Nice, creative shot! ===> Thanks. One of these days, I'll get either a very wide angle or a fish-eye lens for my DSLR. I used to have one when I used film, but that has long since been sold. Great minds think alike? Back in the days of film (what's that??) I used to have a 16 mm, f 2.8 full-frame fisheye for the Nikon Fs I owned. That got sold, years ago ..like yours. Stopped thru St.Maarten back in April, and went into Boolchands looking for a Sigma fisheye for the Nikon D60(as it was then) but they sold me a 10.5 mm. Fisheye Nikkor for 'just' US$ 599!! instead - and man am I glad they did! It's a great little lens, and that's what I used to take that shot with the curved horizon. .
