One of these days, I'll get either a very wide angle or a fish-eye lens for my DSLR.

I used to have one when I used film, but that has long since been sold.

Great minds think alike?

 

 

Back in the days of film (what's that??)

I used to have a 16 mm, f 2.8 full-frame fisheye for the Nikon Fs I owned.

That got sold, years ago ..like yours.

 

Stopped thru St.Maarten back in April,

and went into Boolchands looking for a Sigma fisheye for the Nikon D60(as it was then)

but they sold me a 10.5 mm. Fisheye Nikkor for 'just' US$ 599!! :eek: instead

- and man am I glad they did!

It's a great little lens, and that's what I used

to take that shot with the curved horizon.

This was late Sep - early Oct '07 aboard the Carnival Conquest,
