Luxury For Less Posted November 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Hi All, My parents are sailing on Aurora in 10 days times and have a couple of queries. Firstly, are robes provided in the cabins (they have a balcony grade) or is it the same as Princess where you request one from the steward when you board and it is delivered to the cabin the first evening or the following morning once they have been laundered from the previous cruise? Secondly, we believe there is a tea/coffee maker in the cabin (what a pleasure!), is decafinated tea included in the supplies? Also, is there decafinated tea available at "The Trough" (buffet restaurant)? Thanks in Advance:)
Johnthed0g Posted November 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Robes...you wish!! Suites yes, the rest not as far as I recall, though we may have had one in what they called a Balcony stateroom. There is decaffinated about, maybe you have to ask. LibraLass41 Posted November 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2009 I think decaff tea is on your cabin tea tray, if not ask room steward for it, or take some from the ss restaurant where it is definatly available. Robes, yes...and no, look at page 206 of the 2009 brochure under' special touches' and it says bathrobe and slippers in deluxe balconies but not balcony staterooms.....so it depends what type of balcony cabin they have. Johnthed0g Posted November 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Well I thought we had them in a cabin that came with binoculars, sure they called it a deluxe balcony stateroom but the website says not, just mini suites & above.
LibraLass41 Posted November 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2009 It will depend on the balcony grade the posters parents have then, deluxe balcony cabins have robes, slippers and binoculars - we had them too in a deluxe balcony on Oriana in May - DA/DB/DC grade. Lower grade balconies do not get these extras.:) As said previously just refer to brochure under 'special touches' section for each cabin where the photos and plans of the cabins are. Noblemount Posted November 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Sorry no Bathrobes . Not sure about De Caff Tea in Cabins or The Conservetory Buffet but Douwe Egberts De Caff Coffee Satchets are supplied to your Cabin and are available in The Conservetory Buffet:confused:
