gehrandt Posted November 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2009 Does anyone know if you get the keep the slippers (says complimentary which I asume means free to keep) - on robes just indicated they are in the room, so I presume if you want to keep those there is a price. This is for a suite. Thanks.
davidnkim Posted November 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2009 Yes, you can keep the slippers! I am the only one who usually uses ours, so I take one pair home to Mom every cruise. She enjoys them! Have Fun:D
jame_g Posted November 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2009 You can buy the robes from the spa, there are two different kinds. They're not cheap, but they are nice.
brunolvr Posted November 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I guess I should ask the butler next time as even though I wear the slippers, I assumed (like the robe) that they weren't yours to keep!
NJLVW Posted November 12, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I have never found the slippers. I looked all over the room. I just figured they were no longer placing them in the room. I guess I should have asked. oh well I will know for next time. The robes are real nice. They can be purchased for a fee.
cruiseat50 Posted November 12, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I never even tried on the slippers in our suite maybe because quite truthfully that I didn't like the robe. To me it was heavy and not soft and cushy like mine at all. :)
vreihen Posted November 16, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2009 On the Majesty a few weeks ago, the robes were labeled as loaners in our AB suite. NCL had printed tags on the hangers stating this, so I assume it's fleet-wide. I believe that the price tag for them is $75/each if you want to buy one or if they go missing after your cruise, so plan accordingly either way. Oh, and from *very* recent personal experience, let me throw in my own personal observation that two of NCL's bath robes will fill half of a suitcase due to their bulky size. If you plan on buying them, plan accordingly or bring a collapsible carry-on bag.....
rsohn65820 Posted November 16, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 16, 2009 We had the robe and slippers in our AB suite on the Star a couple of weeks ago. I used the robe once but when I looked at the slippers they looked used they had food on the top of them and the soles were dirty so I just threw them back in the closet where they had been. Then I got to wondering about the robe had it been used and not replaced with a clean one. I would think that they would check them and put new ones in if it looks like someone had wore them.
