flagger Posted November 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2009 I saw on a friend Facebook today pictures of Computerized Blackjack tables. Are there any tables with LIVE dealers instead of watching the computer televised version on one onscreen?
RCCL-thebest Posted November 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Actualy this is pretty normal that some of the games is being more and more computerized. This happens a lot in Vegas too. But of all the casinos I have seen it in, they all had the normal black jack too, so don't worry.
Evilblah Posted November 22, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2009 I would imagine you'd be able to play at a real table as opposed to having your money stolen..err..playing at a computerized game. ;)
MickeyB426 Posted November 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2009 A bit off topic... When it comes to computerized card games, I trust NONE of them where it's you against the casino. (Texas Hold'em is an exception since you're playing against others.) Last year I played video poker at Empire City (Yonkers, NY), which is entirely video slots, and noticed two identical machines next to each other...about 5 hands apart, would leave exactly the same five cards, and, when you made your "hold" moves, would draw the exact same cards. It was definitely programmed to NOT be random, therefore it is rigged. I alerted the Casino Manager, showed it to him, who then promptly refunded all the money I had played. I haven't been back since.

Spock's Brain Posted November 23, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2009 They had the computer BJ as well as computer 3 card poker & roulette on the NCL Gem when we sailed eariler this year. They also had the real thing as well. Didn't try any of them. Did play the computerized "PokerPro" texas holdem on the RCL Explorer of the Seas 2 years ago. 10 at a table max. All computerized. Tournaments & cash games. Seemed like the game was dealt fairly, certainly a lot more on the up and up than the off shore internet poker sites. The only bad thing was the ten percent rake with a 10 dollar cap. They also took 10 percent out of the tournament pool. 5 % each to the house & PokerPro.
