ac2007 Posted November 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Good evening, Forgot to ask along my last post. Now, I'm wondering when are we allowed to board on the Wind Surf for the December 6th cruise departing from Bridgetown/Barbados ? Sailing shows at midnight but can we plan boarding around noon, drop off luggages, return downtown for the afternoon, and then back on the ship for dinner ? iceworm Posted November 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2009 You can check in at the pier/board anytime after 1 PM. From then on your free till final boarding which I believe they advertise at 2 hours before sailing.

panam22 Posted November 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Your cruise documents should state the boarding time. Our Jan. 2nd cruise on Wind Spirit says 1:00. And, yes you can check in, drop off your luggage, leave the ship for awhile and re-board later. You should be back on the ship between 1 and 2 hours before departure, ask someone on board to make sure. Have a great cruise - only 5 weeks from today for us! Riverroad Posted November 29, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Glad to see there's someone else on this cruise. We will be joining you on the Windspirit on Jan. 2. We are two couples from the New York City area. Look forward to meeting you.
ac2007 Posted November 29, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Panam22: Good Morning and thanks for your answer. At the time I posted my question I didn't have my cruise documents yet. Now I have them and you're right for the 13h00 embarkation time. It will leave us some time to go back downtown for some shopping, and have a break at one of the bars close to the Careenage.:) We have to be back at the latest at 22h00. Now, I have to find the exact disembarkation time which I can't find. Maybe should I get a new pair of glasses ?! I know it is quite early, and for a Sunday, have to figure out a good plan to spend the day before our afternoon flight. Have a great cruise too! However, you will usually be off the ship by 9:00 a.m, if not earlier. Exact times will be printed on the daily activities page you will receive each day. ac2007 Posted November 29, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Hi 6rugrats, Thanks for the info. I can now cancel my appointment with my eyes' specialist ! ;) So, if the time will be found only once onboard, that makes things more difficult to make arrangments with our cab driver.....Was thinking to take the same one who will drop us off on the departing day....I would prefer to disembark as late as possible because the plan was to kill few hours at the Boatyard which opens only at 9h30. Still some planning to do. Thanks again. :) AC2007
