Room service from the dining room

Normally you need to place the order within the first half hour of the first seating when the dining room opens. You should be able to pick time you want it delivered during the dining room hours. Each ship may be a little different and you should ask once you are on the ship. We did this a few times and it wasn't published anywhere which is another reason we like CC.

On the Noordam in October, we used dining room dinner room service for a number of days due to colds, and it was outstanding. We simply ordered within an hour of the opening time, and the meals were delivered when requested. The food was very good, and we were most grateful for the wonderful service. On another cruise on the Noordam, we did the same, so that we could watch Sunday football games in our stateroom. On the whole, HAL does an outstanding job with room service. The food remains hot, because heated, heavy, metal warmers are placed under the entree dishes.
