Ventura - Freedom Dining

We arrived in Barbados on New Year's Day and the "back on board" time at the gangway was 6.30p.m. on January 2nd (when she was due to sail again with the new arrivals). The security guard said we could stay out all night as far as she was concerned!

 

We came back from the restaurant about 11.30p.m. as we still had to finish packing and put our cases out by midnight. There was quite a gang of younger passengers just heading off to a nightclub and they got back around 5a.m. (spoke to a mum of three of them in the Oasis pool the next morning).

 

We enjoyed the chance of a night out off the ship and would welcome more overnight ports.

We have chosen to take the later version so we sail same day but have almost two days in BDS at the end when we are in the time zone. Hire a car & re visit old haunts, dinner at the Cliff or Tides, next day make the most of the time we have then skid sideways into BGI just in time for the flight.
