OASIS - what happens if it rains? Retractable Roof?

Recommended Posts

Going on the Oasis on Dec. 12. What happens if it rains? Does Central Park and the Boardwalk have a retractable roof?

Thanks for all the other great info on CC - it's really soooooo helpful!

No cover. Be sure to take an umbrella... or enjoy the cooling rain. Also, you will love Pride of America. NCL does a great job cruising Hawaii. Make dinner reservations early, or you will end up with a pager standing in a hallway. The specialty resturants book up quick, so plan those early, also.

No retractable roof, the plants in Central park get a drink and the boardwalk gets wet; the promenade is inside though.

The Royal Promenade gets really crowded. '-)

This question has been asked so many times. If it rains, just like on all the pool decks that don't have retractable roofs, things get wet, which is designed on purpose. Neighborhoods like Central Park and Boardwalk are desigend to get wet if it does rain. Obviously Central Park needs water because it has 12,000 plants. And yes drainage systems are in place (as they are on pool decks) to handle rain water in Central Park and Boardwalk. Once again there are no retractable roofs over Central Park and Boardwalk.

And if you get wet, don't ask for a towel.
