RSF Cruiser Posted December 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2009 We were in Acapulco a few years ago and one of our favorite places was the Chapel of Peace. I remember we had to wait to get in - they only let non-residents through the gate at certain times. We're going to be in Acapulco mid-January and want to go back to the chapel. Does anyone know if they still limit when non-residents can get into the neighborhood to go up to the chapel? I did a google search for the chapel and couldn't find any restrictions for entering the neighborhood. Thanks.
QFSYDLAX Posted December 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2009 If I can remember correctly, we couldn't get into the Chapel of Peace until 4.30pm when we went there on our cruise last month. It's a spectacular place, both the view and the Church. Michael
arlodog Posted December 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2009 We were there the early part of March and it was one of our first stops. We were probably there around 10am or so. No restrictions getting into the neighborhood. We really enjoyed it too!
